Very effective locks for immobilizing the opponent or for throwing him to the ground, as well as strikes and blocks are comprised in this martial art.

The techniques are related to those of Tessenjutsu (the art of the iron fan) which can be traced back to general Yoshimitsu, the “father of aiki”.
